Jade Peplar is an artist, prop maker, enthusiastic crocheter and illustrator based in Cardiff, Wales.

 

Having spent the last 10 years working as a freelance prop maker in film, TV and promotions she is now focusing on her illustration work and true passion- collage.

 

Every image is made from recycled mixed media (mainly magazine papers) that provide bold, varying textures.

 

Her aesthetic is hugely inspired by her childhood interests of marbles, plants, rocks, feathers and bold colour.

Combining these themes with her bold technique she creates fresh, playful interpretations in her own unmistakable style.

 

Whilst currently refining her craft within this new medium by creating art prints and posters, she is also planning to expand her designs into fabrics and surface patterns.
